Valhal Outdoor cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Valhal Outdoor.

The starting date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 02/08/2021, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what data is collected about you by us, what this data is used for and with whom and under what conditions, if any, this data can be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

Webshopsoftware

CM Specialist

Our webshop has been developed with software from CM Specialist. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. CM Specialist has access to your information to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your information for any other purpose. CM Specialist is obliged on the basis of the agreement that we have concluded with them to take appropriate security measures. CM Specialist makes use of cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data will be collected and/or stored.

Webhosting

CM Specialist

We provide web hosting and email services. CM Specialist processes personal data as previously mentioned. We collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. CM Specialist has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. CM Specialist is obliged to maintain confidentiality pursuant to the agreement.

Payment processors

Mollie

For processing (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the platform of the payment provider. The payment provider processes your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. The payment provider has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. The payment provider reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. All of the above guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the components of the payment provider's services for which they engage third parties. The payment provider does not retain your data longer than is permitted by law.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL

If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence information with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of carrying out the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your details available to these parties.

DHL

If you place an order with us it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with DHL. DHL uses these data only for the execution of the agreement. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL also makes your data available to these parties.

Koopman Transmission

If you place an order with us it is our job to have your order delivered to you. We use the services of Koopman Transmission to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence data with Koopman Transmission. Koopman Transmission only uses these data for the execution of the agreement. In the case that Koopman Transmission engages subcontractors, Koopman Transmission will also make your data available to these parties.

Invoicing and accounting

Snelstart

For our administration and bookkeeping we use the services of Snelstart. We share your name, address and place of residence details and details regarding your order. These details are used for the administration of sales invoices. Your personal data will be sent and stored in a protected manner, Snelstart has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use. Snelstart is obliged to secrecy and will treat your information confidentially. Snelstart will not use your personal information for purposes other than those described above.

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. In certain cases Valhal Outdoor is required by law to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by the government. In such a case we will be forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered to us by law.

Storage periods

We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we will keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also take this as a forgetting request. Pursuant to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. Employees, however, no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your assignment.

Your rights

You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been modified at the e-mail address we have on file.

Right to restrict processing

You always have the right to limit the data that we process (or have processed) relating to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to transferability

You always have the right to have the data that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you, executed by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data relating to you that we have processed or that have been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the e-mail address known to us. In all probability, we will no longer be able to continue to provide the service in such a case because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right of objection and other rights
