Garlic shrimps

Recipe for 2-3 persons (VH25H or VH25)
Preparation time approx. 20 min


  • 400gr prawns
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 red pepper
  • 50cl olive oil - extra virgin
  • 10 parsley sprigs
  • pepper and salt 


  1. Peel the prawns, but leave the tails on, and pat them dry with kitchen paper. Note, it is important that the prawns are really well dabbed dry. If you use frozen prawns, they must be completely thawed.
  2. Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices and the pepper into thin rings. Shred/chop the parsley leaves into small pieces.
  3. Put your skillet in the BBQ, direct heat. When the skillet is hot, put the olive oil in the pan.
  4. When the olive oil is at the right temperature, add the garlic and pepper.
  5. After 1-2 minutes, when the garlic has a brown edge, add the prawns and pepper and salt to taste.
  6. Fry the prawns until they turn a nice light pink colour, about 2 minutes. Make sure you do not fry the prawns too long, then they will become dry.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped parsley through the skillet and stir well for 3 minutes.
  8. Serve directly from the skillet. Be careful, the skillet is very hot! Use heat-resistant BBQ gloves to remove your skillet from the barbecue.
