Recipe Baked beans by Bushkitchen's Harm-Jan Bloem

Time: 20 minutes
Number of persons: 3-4
Pan: VH30, VH30H, VH6.1L, VH6.1L+, VH3.8L

Ingredients

  • 2 cans white beans (Heinz), 400 gr each
  • 1 can red kidney beans, 200 gr
  • 2 packets lean bacon strips, 125 gr each
  • 1 can of peach pieces, drained, 100 ml
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Heinz ketchup
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek
  • Handful of grated mozzarella

Preparation:

  1. Fry the bacon strips in a pan until crispy.
  2. Add the white beans, kidney beans, ketchup and other sauces to the pan or Dutch oven.
  3. Let everything simmer and add the peach pieces and grated mozzarella during the last 15 minutes.
  4. Stir well and make sure all ingredients are well mixed.
  5. Serve the Baked Beans warm and enjoy the delicious flavours.
